Behind the Scenes

Miss Permilia Griswold, the wallflower behind “The Quill” gossip column, knows everything that goes on in the ballrooms of New York. When she overhears a threat against the estimable Mr. Asher Rutherford, she’s determined to warn him. Away from society’s spotlight, Asher and Permilia discover there’s more going on behind the scenes than they anticipated.

The review you have all been waiting for…well, maybe not. But, this is a very important review because RIGHT NOW I am hosting a giveaway for this book. Haven’t entered it yet? Here is the link: Interview with Jen Turano ~ Plus a Giveaway (Only 2 more days left!)

Anyway, this book was pretty good. Unfortunately, it did not surpass Playing the Part, but it was quite good!

The strangest thing about this book was the fact that the first third of the book was the same scene—a ball. And Jen somehow pulled it off!

Okay, so the cover, I must be honest, was definitely not my favorite. I will give it 2 stars.

The cover, although, did not make me think bad of the book! I definitely enjoyed reading this story. It was quite fun. The bantering and such was the star of the show—or should I say, book. But, I would definitely recommend this book to all Jen Turano fans and fans of humorous romance and adventure stories! I am going to give this book 4 stars. I hope you enjoy it as much as—or even more than I did!
